Fairway Outdoor Advertising has donated an advertising package worth $39,450 to promote Son Set Ministries. The announcement was made today by Paul Hickman, general manager of Fairway.
Son Set Ministries is an organization committed to bringing hearts to Christ and ministering to adults, youth and children of all ages in eastern North Carolina and the entire Southeastern United States through a variety of programs. Under the direction of Sammy Hudson, the ministry reaches out in a number of ways including summer camps for at-risk youth, marriage enrichment programs and prison ministries.
"Fairway is excited to form a relationship with Son Set Ministries," said Hickman. "Their work touches the lives of so many people in incredible ways and I hope this exposure will help them to grow to reach even more people in need."
The boards took flight in February as Son Set Ministries kicks off its 2008 campaign called "It's about time." Hudson says the first boards will feature a "teaser" followed by an answer in mid-March.
"The commitment of Fairway Outdoor Advertising to nonprofit organizations serving the local community is remarkable in an age where so many companies are driven by profit margin," said Hudson. "We are very appreciative of their help."
