William R. Cross, president of Cross + Associates, a Raleigh-based multi-disciplined marketing communication firm specializing in brand development, traditional and interactive media planning as well as creative design, announces today that the firm will complete a six month pro bono campaign for the Raleigh Progressive School. The overall strategy will include both traditional and interactive design as well as an integrated public relations campaign.
“Our agency prides its self on serving a variety of higher education clients,” said Cross. “We are delighted to promote our first primary and secondary education client on a pro bono basis, as we seek to make a positive impact for youth in our community.”
The Raleigh Progressive School is founded on the principles of personalized education and maintains a class size of 10-12 students. The approach of the school couples a customized education plan for every student with interactive learning experiences through community partnerships. They are the only school in the area offering courses in sustainability as a core requirement.
“We founded the school with the belief that true learning takes place when each student is an active participant in his or her own education and when the course of study is personalized by teachers and mentors who know them well. Relevant and meaningful content and experiences create responsible future-ready young people,” explains Tara Fitz, executive director of Raleigh Progressive School.
Cross + Associates began working with the Raleigh Progressive School in May and expects the pro bono donation value to exceed $10,000.
