The Challenge

Through C+A’s online marketing efforts for NCSU’s distance education program, the agency realized that the use of DE (Distantance Education), which had been previously used, was meaningless to the target audience. The agency expanded its services beyond interactive media by creating enhanced branding with a look and feel that was easily identifiable for a distance education learner.


The Solution

The agency altered the messaging in all NCSU-DELTA online marketing efforts. Additionally, C+A helped expand DELTA’s research efforts by conducting qualitative and quantitative research to refine brand positioning. The “I go to State” campaign was born.

 

The Results
C+A launched a highly recognizable statewide awareness campaign across multiple mediums. The “I go to State” campaign helped online students feel a part of NCSU no matter where they were physically located. The campaign resulted in NCSU-DELTA exceeding its online student enrollment projections by 35%.
