Client
Durham Regional Hospital, located in Durham, NC. The 369-bed hospital, which has long been known as the place to have a baby, was awarded five stars by HealthGrades for Women’s Services.
The Challenge
The hospital has historically operated in the shadow of its parent brand, Duke University Medical Center, but needed to broaden its position in the market regarding women’s health issues.
The Solution
We created a strategic targeted multi-level approach focused on the hospital’s OB/GYN services, the 5-Star HealthGrades rating and a community awareness and outreach program.
The Results
The campaign earned Wallie awards for both print and radio advertising executions, as well as an Addy award. Ladies Night Out became an instant success, resulting in standing room only events. The campaign positioned Durham Regional as a leader in Women’s Health services and helped solidify relations with key physicians who participated in the programs.
